Most cats I happen to meet look either cute of funny but we’ll have a special section for the cute cats and here is the place for a bit of a laugh, well at least a chuckle. Cats lend themselves to humor so naturally with their solemn faces, proud looks, playful mischief. All the range of cat behaviors when painted and exaggerated a bit is capable of causing a smile. And off course the salt of the funny cat pics is the punch line comment.

When I was a child I loved watching the pet humor TV programmes and used to admire how the editors managed to turn a plain uneventful animal home video into a hilarious episode by just commenting on it in a funny way.

Merry Bird catcher. This one is my favorite. When I was painting it I couldn’t stop giggling when I thought of a name for it. This often happens to me when I paint my pictures of cats. The name come to me during work somehow. It’s like the painting reveals it’s meaning to me. This way some of my pictures turn into funny cat pics.

Casanova. Isn’t it true. Look into his eyes. He’s looking for love and he know that no kitty can resist his charms. Let alone the ladies on the street.

Nirvana. The cat is gone. It’s clear that she is out there with the spirits of the pure and unspoilt Delight.
