Pictures of Cats assembled for your enjoyment

Here I have assembled a collection of pictures of cats selected by the breed. Each picture leads to the page dedicated to this particular breed.

So far all the cat art you can see here has been done by myself. I invite artists, amateurs as well as professionals who share my aspirations and are willing to become Cat Art Club members to submit their works for inclusion in any of these categories. Maybe you can even suggest the new ones. As always I appreciate your comments and ideas.

 Birman Cats

Birman Cats

Birmans is one of my most favourite breed. It's such a pleasure to paint them. As you may notiece from my works I love the seal point colouring and use it a lot in my pictures. My favorite Birman cat art models are Lara, Max and Oscar. Here is the link to their website

Here you can find more pictures of cats of the Birman breed

Siamese Cats

Siamese Cats

Ever popular Siamese cats are made to be art models. Slender, graceful body, long paws, exquisite contrast of cream and dark chocolate colours, slightly slanted eyes, oh cats are just gorgeous!

Sphynx Cats

Sphynx - mysterious naked cat. Very unusual and yet so very charming in it's oddity. I am always tempted to add some ancient objects to my pictures of this cat. Never mind that the breed is fairly modern it has this ancient look which is so captivating for many cat fans.

Persian Cats

Persian Cats

Persian cat has been around for long while. At one point it seemed a breed of choice for a screen villains. They are like actors who get stereotyped by the directors and then have to put up with the certain stigma. Many cat lovers adore their little cute flat face. I certainly love to paint it.
